Deleting storage drives

Before deleting a storage drive, you must remove the drive from your workstations. To unmount a drive from a workstation, follow these instructions.

Once the drive is no longer mounted to any workstations, follow these instructions to delete the drive.

  1. Navigate to the storage drives page.
  2. Identify the drive you wish to delete.
  3. Click its actions menu (three dots on the right side of the drive).
  4. In the menu that opens, click the "Delete" option.
  5. In the modal window that opens, confirm that you want to delete the drive by entering its ID and clicking the "Delete" button.
  6. Within a few seconds, your drive will be removed. Once removed, you will no longer be charged for the drive.
