Chart studio

The chart studio enables users to quickly and easily create basic charts, such as bar charts and scatter plots, to visualize the data in the columns of their databases.

Creating a chart​

Follow these instructions to create a chart:

  1. Navigate to the database which you would like to visualize.
  2. In the data grid for the database, select the cells which you would like to chart.
  3. Right-click on these cells to open the context menu.
  4. In the context menu, select "Chart Range" and then select the type of chart you'd like to create.
  5. Scroll to the "Charts" section below the data grid.

Customizing a chart​

Once you've created a chart, follow these instructions to customize the chart:

  1. Navigate to the chart.
  2. At the top-right of the chart, click its actions (:) button and select "Edit Chart".
  3. In the window that opens, use the "Set Up" tab to control the columns which are visualized.
  4. In the window that opens, use the "Customize" tab to control the style and titles of the chart.

Downloading a chart​

Once you've created a chart, follow these instructions to download it in PNG format:

  1. Navigate to the chart.
  2. At the top-right of the chart, click its actions (:) button and select "Download Chart".
